Mayweather vs Pacquiao: How to watch the fight on PPV

Mayweather vs Pacquiao Live: How to watch the fight on PPV (or free)With tickets to the big fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao selling out in less than a minute, boxing fans will have to find other ways to watch the bout.

Those in Las Vegas can also watch on closed-circuit TV at 10 MGM Resorts properties, but there are options for the rest of us ranging from pay-per-view to free (contract required, of course).

Order Pay-Per-View: The standard definition pay-per-view through a cable provider will cost $90 while the high-definition broadcast will be $100. The event can be ordered over the phone, online or with a remote straight to TV.

Switch to DISH: DISH is offering a promotion where new customers will get to see the fight free of charge. But it's not as simple as watching the fight and canceling your service. DISH requires new subscribers agree to a two-year contract. Remember to use the code "BOXING" if making the switch in order to get the bout.

Go to a bar or restaurant: A bar or restaurant venue may charge patrons a fee to watch the fight considering a commercial license for a big UFC or boxing event can cost between $1,500 and $3,000, according to Bloomberg Business. The cost for Mayweather-Pacquiao will likely be much higher than that range. Be prepared to pay a cover charge, but it should be significantly less than ordering the pay-per-view at home.

Travel to Mexico: Viewers in Mexico can watch the fight for free through Televisa and Azteca, competitors in the Mexican market. "Televisa and Azteca must be recognized for their great commitment, for bringing to Mexico this bout for free," the World Boxing Council said. "This has never, ever happened in any country of the world."
